Amsterdam Reclaimed Antique Oak Panels
This project, located in central Amsterdam, involved the supply and installation of reclaimed antique oak Parquet de Versailles panels.
The original aged surface of the oak was retained, preserving its natural patina and the subtle undulation between the individual components of each panel. The panel size was carefully specified to suit the generous proportions of the rooms, allowing the pattern to sit comfortably within the space. The floor was hand sanded and finished with a dark wax, then buffed to achieve a soft, traditional sheen. The result contributes a strong sense of structure and rhythm to the interior, with the scale and texture of the panels playing a defining role in the overall design.
